Sentinel SCD

The Sentinel SCD (Stand-Alone Cash Depository) was designed for the customer who deals in high-volume cash and puts a premium on the security of their bills. The two high-capacity note validators are controlled through a PIN-based touchscreen interface that accounts for every cash deposit made. Reports provide a comprehensive summary of system activity, making it easier for clerks to close out their shift, managers to run end-of-day reports, and couriers to get in and out of the location quicker. Customers who already take advantage of the time-delayed benefits of the Timed Access Cash Controller (TACC) products by Tidel will find the Sentinel SCD a natural complement to validate and count notes which reduces error and saves time and money. The Sentinel family of Cash Management Systems is designed with flexibility and efficiency in mind. The Sentinel installs as a node on your existing network, and its proprietary Windows-based software provides secure, 2-way communication between the Sentinel, POS and back-office reporting system. The networked Sentinel system allows users to view and download transactional data or reports, remotely install currency updates, download software enhancements and transfer status indicators or data logs. Tidel's software also provides the unique ability to electronically "command and control" the operation of the Sentinel through the POS terminal, providing full accountability and effectively closing the cash management loop.
