Congratulations to Tyler Jones, winner of this week’s Inspired Service Award!
“Tyler made the impossible possible,” said Brandon Douglas, Director of Operations.
Tyler stood out last week when one of our clients was in a tight spot, in desperate need of a lock, delivered and installed across the country, before 5 o’clock that same day.
“The only person I knew I could trust to make this happen was Tyler,” said Brandon “Tyler has the desire to make things happen. Even when the rate of failure is high, he has no fear to face the challenge head on.”
Despite the complexity of such a demanding job, Tyler was able to take the challenge and run with it. We were able to complete the job in record time, and help a client out of a tight spot while we were at it.
When asked about his motivation, Tyler said that he just enjoys Rolland, and that no other motivation is needed. He also said he really likes being the go-to person that everyone can count on.
Tyler serves his team with his dedicated work ethic, and his desire to lighten the mood even though the work they accomplish can be stressful at times. He says he spends some of his time trying to make Chris Libby smile, a challenge only few from the Rolland team have accomplished. “If he ever smiles,” Tyler joked, “I should get an Inspired Service Award for that.”
In his free time, you may find Tyler playing the drums, which he’s been playing since high school. He challenges Rick Rolland to a drumming duel, which we can’t disagree would be awesome to see.
“Because of team mates like Tyler our business will continue to flourish,” Said Brandon. Indeed, we’re so glad to have him! Tyler says he’s excited to be a part of the team as it starts to grow so rapidly. He sees a bright future ahead as he continues to help us develop parts of our business, including door hardware.
Thank you for all of your hard work, Tyler!
