Congratulations to Mario Santana, winner of this week’s Inspired Service Award!
His team still cannot stop raving about all of the awesome work he has done to help the process efficiency between the US and Mexico
Mario never hesitates to take on another task. In fact, his nomination for the award included that “He doesn’t know the word ‘no’”.
This is the kind of attitude we treasure here at Rolland. As a family and a team, it’s important for each of our employees to help each other out wherever they can. It is this approach that allows the whole operation to run smoothly.
Mario recently joined the rest of our finance team in a trip to visit the Mexico office. The teams worked together over the weekend to solidify information processing between offices. Upon his return, we’ve heard nothing but positive feedback from Rolland Mexico’s finance team. The team sang his praises for his cheerful attitude, and his eagerness to help. He was truly a key player in the success of the trip.
His coworkers applaud him for helping to form a “bridge of communication” where there is a gap between teams. For example, last week Mario stepped out of his normal duties to help the AP department and logistics team solve an issue. His understanding and communication skills really made a difference when it came to finding the best solution for the problem, and he helped the communication run smoothly between these teams so that the issue was taken care of as fast as possible.
Mario always has a positive attitude and is always ready and willing to lend a hand to a Rolland teammate. It is this kind of helpfulness that helps Rolland to deliver the best service around!
It seems fitting that on Friday’s you’ll often find Mario running around in a super hero t-shirt, ready to save the day with a smile wherever he can.
Thank you for all your hard work, Mario!
